On 30 September 2026, World Heart Day, Salus Alliance held its third meeting in Vienna. Members set up four working groups, which will prepare position papers with concrete steps to close the prevention gap in Central and Eastern Europe. The meeting also agreed to prepare an event in the European Parliament. The Alliance has written to the European Commissioner for Health and Animal Welfare, offering a standing platform for disease prevention dialogue in the region.
